Introduction:
To ensure that consumers and businesses within South Tyneside are protected against fraud, unfair trading practices and unsafe goods or services.
To empower and enable consumers within the Borough to exercise their legal civil rights to resolve disputes concerning the sale or supply of goods/services. We also mediate between consumers and traders.
This means they are here to make sure you get a fair deal, and to help if they can when you don’t.
