My Story:
"I am 12 years old. I have been bullied since I started at the comp. Everyone had friends from primary and I didn’t. I found it hard to make new friends. The older kids picked on me in the school yard and stole my dinner money. I was very scared and didn’t want to stay at school for dinner. I couldn’t tell my parents because they would be upset."
"This went on for a few weeks and I was really miserable. The school had learning mentors and one of them was really nice. I started to go and see them at lunchtime to avoid the bullies. I soon made friends with some other children and we started a peer mentoring group and lunchtime activities. Now we all talk about our problems and I am not scared to go to school anymore."
