Ronnie Lynn has actively been involved with the Youth Service from the age of 14. He started volunteering at Hedworthfield Community Association 'out of school care club'. He continued with his voluntary work that included Mayors Award, Duke of Edinburgh Award, Youth Challenge Award, Youth Achievement Award to name but a few.
Ronnie at the age of 16 was elected to represent the South Tyneside Young People's Parliament as Chair Person and has also been elected to represent South Tyneside as Member of the UK Youth Parliament. The Youth Service have valued Ronnied commitment to his volunteering and he is now employed as a part time Youth Development Worker responsibile for overseeing the Youth Opportunity Fund/Youth Capital Fun. Ronne continues to Chair the young people's parliament facilitating many sessions and running Every Child Matters workshops on behalf of the North East Regional Youth Assembly.
Ronnie is a total inspiration to everyone he works with and is now supporting younger members of the Parliament to progress with their volunteering.

Darren Myers (Assistant Treasurer) and Jay Lavery (Treasurer) working on finances for the Parliament. Jay does a tremendous job keeping the accounts of the Parliament up-to-date.
Thandi MkFeka at the Pathfinder Targeted Youth Support Pilot Programme - 'place to go things to do'. Thandi is sits on the Council board for Equality and Diversity.
