  • Do you attend youth projects and activities in South Tyneside?
  • Would like to support and mentor other young people during your activities?

If yes, then join our mentoring team!

South Tyneside Council's Youth Service is looking for young people aged 13 to 19, or up to age 24 for those with special needs, to support and mentor other young people during activities, particularly young people who may have additional needs.

We'd also like to hear from young people who have additional needs who would like to offer their support and share their experiences with other young people in similar circumstances.

You have until 25 January 2011 to become part of this team. If this interests you then please get in touch and get involved!

Why get involved?

  • You will support young people to get involved in positive activities
  • You'll receive training and support
  • You can get involved with mentor team reward activities
  • You will improve your skills such as team work, supporting others, leadership skills and boost your confidence

This project is supported by Aiming High for Disabled Children funding.
