Hype characters:
How were they designed?
The focus group decided that they liked the idea of the Hype! website having different types of characters such as rollerbladers, goths, rockers and so on. We worked closely with the focus groups to create the two main characters on the site, Binki and ZeeZee.
These were hand drawn first then scanned into the computer where the final touches were applied.
