Meet The Team
Where did Hype! come from?
The Council members agreed that a young person's site would be a great idea. So we asked young people from across the borough to tell us what they wanted it to look like and what information they wanted to see on it. Pupils from these schools and organisations attended the focus groups:
- Margaret Sutton
- St. Wilfreds
- Mortimer
- Boldon
- King George
- Bamburgh
- Connexions
- Shadow Board
- South Tyneside Secondary
- School Council.
We held a competition to choose the name of the site with the best entry winning an i-Pod. The winning entry turned out to be Hype! (Helping Young People Evolve).
