Drop-in and discover what's happening in the Young People's Parliament.

Creative students at Mortimer Comprehensive School have submitted an exciting collection of work as part of a project for a new course at the school.
The new 'iMedia' course has proven very popular with young people since it started and gives students the opportunity to learn skills in digital photography, film and animation. If successfully passed, the students will receive a certificate equal to a GCSE B grade on completion.

Brinkburn C.A. and Hardian Primary School are now hosting free sports activities for young people aged 8-15 on Fridays and Saturdays. Come along and try lots of fun activities such as uni-hoc, kwik cricket, short tennis, basketball, tri golf and many more!
More than 170 young people in South Tyneside have received recognition for their positive actions and achievements they make in their everyday lives and efforts in the community.

The new Bodyshokk Youth Gym at Temple Park Centre is a cutting edge facility designed especially for youngsters aged 8+.
The two-floor gym located in a converted squash court boasts a fantastic range of cardiovascular and resistance training equipment and is the first of its kind in the borough.
The equipment in the gym has been supplied by SHOKK - a unique company that specialises in professional fitness for the youth sector.
If you are between the ages of 13 and 19 and need funding for activities or projects, or if you are part of a group who supports these young people find out what help is available.

If you live in Boldon and Biddick Hall why not try your hand at painting, music, drama and dance at our new youth arts groups. The groups will take place at Chuter Ede CA, on Galsworthy Road on Wednesdays from 5.30pm to 7.30pm, and at Boldon Village Hall on Thursdays from 4pm to 6pm. They groups are for 10 to 19-year-olds, and if you attend you will get the opportunity to work with professional artists and visit various arts venues.
More youth arts groups are being planned for Lukes Lane, Horsley Hill, Westoe Road, Boldon Lane and Jarrow. The groups are funded through the Neighbourhood Renewal Fund (NRF).
